Purpose and Reason for Processing Personal Data

Personal data includes job application attachments such as the open application and curriculum vitae. Additionally, background checks and suitability assessments may also be included if applicable.
Retention Period of Personal Data
Personal data is stored in the recruitment register only if it is appropriate for the recruitment process.
Open job application data is stored for three months before deletion. The applicant’s information can also be deleted earlier upon request.
Personal data related to a specific job application will be removed after the recruitment process is finalised. Removal of personal data is done no later than three months after the application period has started.
Regular Data Sources
Personal information directly received from the applicant in a job application or open application is recorded to the recruitment register. In addition, interviewers participating in the recruitment process can save information received in an interview to the register.
Silvasti Software Oy can receive additional information from a third party after receiving consent from the applicant. This includes information from references, authorities or from possible suitability assessments.
Regular Disclosure of Data
Personal information will not be disclosed to a third party without receiving explicit consent from the applicant. Silvasti Software Oy may be required by or under mandatory law disclose your personal data to authorities.
Data Transfer Outside European Union or European Economic Area
Personal information as a rule is not transferred to locations outside the EU/EEA area. It is possible that personal data can be stored in servers located outside EU/EEA or technical support may be asked outside EU/EEA. The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory data protection authority if the controller has not complied with the applicable data protection regulations in their operations.
